Our whole approach to learning is to ensure that we are totally person centred.
Our students join us having had a range of different experiences, challenges, successes and with a variety of aspirations.
All our learning is delivered to ensure that students are ready and able to live the rest of their lives with the maximum amount of skills to lead a healthy, happy & fulfilled life.
Having been through their school careers, many students have found that going down the accredited learning routes have not proved as meaningful as they could have been, following the RARPA non-accredited approach ensures that all learning and progress is meaningful, robust and leads to the most positive outcomes for all students.
All our students have targets specially tailored for them, taking into account their aspirations, previous learning and what’s important both to and for them.
For students who have completed their formal education they are still supported to learn at every opportunity and continue to be lifelong learners.
Our key aim is to support students to become as independent as possible and base all key areas on the Preparation For Adulthood framework and the main areas identified in Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
