Towards Employability

Our Towards Employability can support you to achieve your personal and/or work-related goals, supporting young people to develop the skills they need to be successful in the workplace.

Learners follow a personalised curriculum which supports communication in the workplace, basic Maths and English skills, employability and interview skills, independent living skills and an understanding of staying safe in Modern Britain.

There are many opportunities to take part in work experience opportunities and you can sample a number of different job roles while you decide what you would like to focus on. Alongside work experience you will have opportunities to take part in enterprise projects and community volunteering projects.

We provide a holistic and integrated approach to learning, ensuring that therapeutic strategies (Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy) are implemented throughout the day.

We welcome applications from young people aged 19-25 with learning difficulties who may find a more mainstream setting too difficult to navigate.
