Employability skills

We deliver an exciting Employability curriculum which is tailored to the needs of all of our learners. We offer both internal and external work experience placements with partners such as Hope Pastures Donkey Sanctuary, West Leeds Activity Centre and St Vincent’s Charity.

We also offer internal work experience for learners who are not yet ready for an external work placement. These might include cooking lunches for peers in our bespoke life skills kitchens, cleaning roles across the building, supporting during college events etc.

We ensure that for learners who may go on to a paid or voluntary employment role, we teach fundamental work skills such as interview practice, learning about appropriate interaction, role play and customer service practice.
